THIS PAPER DEALS WITH THE PROBLEM OF THERMOELASTIC INTERACTION IN AN ISOTROPIC UNBOUNDED MEDIUM DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF MOVING HEAT SOURCE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE GREEN AND NAGHDI MODEL OF TYPE III (GNIII). THE LAPLACE TRANSFORM AND EIGENVALUE APPROACH TECHNIQUES ARE USED TO SOLVE THE RESULTING NON-DIMENSIONAL COUPLED EQUATIONS. THE ANALYTICAL SOLUTION WITH EIGENVALUE APPROACH IN THE LAPLACE TRANSFORMS DOMAIN HAS BEEN OBTAINED. NUMERICAL RESULTS FOR THE TEMPERATURE, DISPLACEMENT AND THE STRESS DISTRIBUTIONS ARE REPRESENTED GRAPHICALLY.Downloads
